Benedictine Hospital is a Community Cancer Hospital, one of only a few awarded by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The designation is awarded to hospitals that offer a higher level of comprehensive cancer care. Services that we provide include a multi-specialty, team approach to the coordination of care, a tumor registry, which collects data on type and stage of cancers and treatment results, lifelong patient follow-up, information about cancer trials and new treatment options, specially trained and certified staff, weekly case conferences, and sophisticated treatment options.
