What’s your next step?

The answer to those questions and more can be found in the culture of the workplace at Benedictine Hospital. We say that with confidence because the hallmark of this 225-bed acute care rural campus is its nursing staff. It is the patient care we provide; the attitude with which we work; and the expertise we demand that keeps our turnover well below national averages and our staff looking forward to coming to work, everyday.

Our Centers of Excellence include:

  • Our Cancer Center, offering the latest in diagnostic treatment;
  • The Cardiac Center affiliated with St. Peter’s Cardiac Center in Albany (60 miles north);
  • Senior care initiatives with the nation’s only
    Senior ER coordinator;
  • Our Emergency Room, where last year we treated 25,000 persons;
  • The Restorative Living program, where we combine a continuum of care for stroke and trauma victims with our Communication Disorders program, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation unit, Occupational and Physical therapy units, Audiology department and social work;
  • Complementary Medicine, where we combine ancient wisdoms of massage, aromatherapy, acupuncture, pet therapy, and more.

With 35 medical specialties, Benedictine Hospital is where nurses go. And they come here because we are a faith-based hospital, where everyone is treated with respect and caring. Read what some of our nurses have said.
