The Benedictine Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop is committed to excellence in retailing. The Auxiliary Gift Shop is a fund-raising service of the Auxiliary. It is staffed and operated by the Auxiliary. Our goals are to offer a merchandise mix which appeals to patients, visitors and staff, to offer the highest level of customer care and to make a profit. the Auxiliary Gift Shop income is donated to the Hospital to support patient care, programs, and equipment.
The Auxiliary Gift Shop purchases its merchandise from well-established vendors. As a fund-raising service in itself, it typically does not sell merchandise for other hospital departments or causes.
Services or merchandise must uphold the Auxiliary's financial goals. Low profit items or services that are not efficient and effective will be evaluated on a regular basis.
