Patients who come to us for outpatient services, diagnostic testing or emergency care must first register at the Central Registration Department located at the main entrance of the hospital by the Emergency Department. To ensure that your registration is complete and accurate, please have your identification, insurance cards, and referrals or claim forms, if applicable, at the time of registration.
For patients who are scheduled for same day surgery, it is usually necessary to visit our Ambulatory Surgery Unit a few days prior to the procedure for testing and documentation of important information. Your physician's office will usually make these arrangements for you. If you have any questions prior to or concerning your pre-surgical visit, please contact Ambulatory Surgery at extension 4780.
We want to expedite the registration process for our patients. Therefore, after your outpatient procedure has been scheduled, you may receive a telephone call from the Central Registration Department to pre-register you. If you prefer not to receive this call, please let the department performing the procedure know at the time of scheduling.
