Nursing Education / Scholarship Fund

Benedictine Hospital is committed to enhancing our nurses' education, and the Benedictine Health Foundation continually strives to raise funds to help with that commitment to our nurses. Due to an increase in education / scholarship requests and the limited number of funds available, we have established specific criteria for the Nursing Education / Scholarship Fund. The aim of the criteria is to make education / scholarships available to as many nurses as possible when funds are available.

There is a maximum limit of $250 in scholarship funds per nurse, per calendar year, that can be awarded to full-time Benedictine Hospital nurses. Awarded funds can only be used for the workshop/seminar/conference (program) fee, and cannot be used toward reimbursement of an y travel or food expenses. or for the purchasing of program materials.

Requests must be received and approved by the Foundation prior to attendance to be considered.
